A startling safety incident occurred during SEVENTEEN's recent concert in Incheon, causing concern among fans.

On the 13th, while the world tour 'SEVENTEEN WORLD TOUR [FOLLOW] IN INCHEON' was underway at the Incheon Asiad Main Stadium, some of the pyrotechnics used for special effects unexpectedly fell into the audience area.

Pledis Entertainment, the group's agency, issued an official statement on the matter the following day, the 14th, via the fan community platform Weverse. The company explained that although a professional company meticulously set safety distances and directions and conducted multiple checks prior to the performance, a defect in some of the products led to the unforeseen situation.

As a result of the incident, two audience members sustained minor injuries. Fortunately, they received immediate treatment at the on-site medical tent and were able to return home safely. Pledis has pledged to actively support the victims' ongoing treatment for a swift recovery.

The agency also stated that they will send separate notification messages to all attendees of that day's concert to check for any further damage. For the second concert scheduled on the 14th, they assured that the problematic products would be excluded, and special effects would proceed after even more thorough safety inspections.

Pledis Entertainment expressed sincere apologies for the worry and inconvenience caused to the audience and vowed to prioritize fan safety in the future, striving to create an even more secure concert environment.
