Actor Choi Jun-yong has expressed his condolences for the late Charlie Kirk, an American conservative political activist.
On the 14th, Choi Jun-yong posted a tribute photo on his personal social media account (SNS) with the message, "Charlie Kirk. We won't forget your efforts for freedom and peace. Thank you for being with us. Rest in peace. R.I.P."
Charlie Kirk was known as a leading figure in the American conservative movement, having founded the right-wing organization 'Turning Point USA' and being a strong supporter of former President Donald Trump. He passed away tragically on the 10th (local time) after being shot during a debate at Utah Valley University in Utah, sending shockwaves across the nation.
Following Kirk's death, tributes poured in from former President Trump, as well as politicians and conservative figures in the United States. In Korea, Super Junior's Choi Si-won and actress Jin Seo-yeon also offered their condolences. The suspect in Charlie Kirk's murder has been identified as 22-year-old Tyler R. Robinson. While not affiliated with any specific political party, he was reportedly known to harbor strong animosity towards Kirk.
