New Boy Group IDID Successfully Holds Debut Showcase, Signals Arrival of 'High-End Charm Dols'

IDID, the new boy group born from Starship's large-scale project 'Debut’s Plan', has successfully concluded their debut showcase for their first mini-album 'I did it.', signaling their rise as 'High-End Charm Dols'.

The fan showcase, 'I did it.', was held on the 15th at the Yes24 Live Hall in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul. Members Jang Yong-hoon, Kim Min-jae, Park Won-bin, Chu Yu-chan, Park Sung-hyun, Baek Jun-hyuk, and Jung Se-min met with global K-pop fans for the first time, showcasing their individual and group charms, proving themselves as talented rookies.

IDID opened the showcase with a powerful performance of 'ImPerfect'. The event was filled with engaging segments, including 'IDID.ZIP' which introduced everything about the group, and 'Chaotically Brilliant Moments of IDID', where members showcased their unique charms. They also performed their pre-debut track 'STEP IT UP', presented the music video and stage for their debut song 'Chaotically Brilliant', and delivered exciting performances of 'So G.oo.D (I'm Crazy About You)' and 'STICKY BOMB'. The nearly 90-minute show concluded with a special fan song, 'Blooming CROWN', a fitting reward for fans eagerly awaiting their debut.

Their debut album, 'I did it.', conveys the message that one can be brilliant even without being perfect. The title track 'Chaotically Brilliant' embodies this philosophy through lyrics like 'Yes, I'm brilliantly chaotic, that's our charm.' The members shared behind-the-scenes stories from the album's creation, enhancing fans' understanding of their musical world.

IDID will officially kick off their debut activities with appearances on music shows starting with Mnet's 'M Countdown' on the 18th. Additionally, they will open a pop-up store from the 18th to October 1st for further fan engagement.

IDID is a 7-member boy group meticulously selected through Starship's 'Debut’s Plan' project, recognized for their exceptional skills in dance, vocals, and performance. Hailed as 'completion idols' even before their official debut, they are expected to bring a fresh wave to the 5th generation K-pop scene.
