Actor Lee Chae-min's 'dad jokes' had co-star Lim Yoon-a in stitches on the set of tvN's drama 'The Tyrant Chef'.

A behind-the-scenes video, released on the tvN DRAMA YouTube channel on the 16th, showcased the vibrant chemistry between the cast members. Titled 'The Four Outcasts x Team Suragan's Chemistry Explodes', the clip delves into the making of episodes 7 and 8.

The footage shows Lim Yoon-a (Yeon Ji-yeong), Lee Chae-min (King Lee Heon), Park Young-woon (Shin Soo-hyuk), and Lee Joo-an (Gong Gil) facing a perilous situation when they are ambushed by assassins while seeking out Jang Chun-sam (Go Chang-seok) to create a pressure cooker.

During a scene where Lim Yoon-a, Lee Chae-min, and Park Young-woon venture into the mountains for ingredients, Lee Chae-min, playing the king, fumbles his way through the task, earning a gentle scolding from Lim Yoon-a. However, he soon redeems himself by discovering a wild ginseng. During rehearsals, Lee Chae-min even practiced his lines using fallen leaves, piquing viewer interest.

Later, during a break, Lee Chae-min treated the cast to his repertoire of 'dad jokes'. He humorously interpreted 'ireok daryugi' (relay race) as 'ear daryugi', mimicking running while holding his ears. When Lim Yoon-a and Park Young-woon showed unimpressed reactions, he questioned, "Is it not good?"

When Lim Yoon-a prompted him for another joke, he asked, "What tea is good to drink in winter?" and answered, "Barley tea," adding a pun, "Because your cheeks get cold, right?" Lim Yoon-a playfully exclaimed, "This is annoying! I burst out laughing," before chiding herself for finding his jokes funny.

The drama 'The Tyrant Chef' airs every Saturday and Sunday at 9:10 PM KST.

Lee Chae-min, born in 2000, made his acting debut in the 2021 KBS2 drama 'Love All Play'. He is currently studying Broadcast Entertainment at Dongdeok Women's University. He also gained popularity as an MC for MBC's 'Show! Music Core' in 2023.
