Singer Yoo Seung-jun has been seen actively promoting the follow-up documentary to the conservative film 'The Birth of a Nation,' despite ongoing controversies surrounding his re-entry into South Korea.

On the 16th, Yoo posted a poster for the documentary 'The Birth of a Nation 2' on his social media, captioning it with 'Twisted and distorted truths. A must-see movie.'

This documentary is the sequel to the successful conservative film 'The Birth of a Nation,' which drew 1.17 million viewers last year. It is known to cover the Jeju 4·3 Incident.

Yoo Seung-jun, who lost his Korean citizenship to obtain U.S. citizenship and avoid mandatory military service in 2002, has been banned from entering South Korea since then. Despite winning legal battles for his overseas Korean (F-4) visa status, his applications have been repeatedly denied due to concerns about undermining national interests.

Amidst this situation, Yoo recently launched a YouTube channel, signaling his intent to resume activities. In a video with his second son, he shared his feelings, stating, 'There are times my heart breaks due to twisted truths and distorted sincerity.' He expressed his hope for misunderstandings to be resolved. His actions are drawing attention to how the South Korean public will perceive them.

Yoo Seung-jun was a highly popular solo artist in South Korea in the early 2000s. Since being banned from entering South Korea due to draft-dodging allegations, he has consistently shared updates about his life and expressed his desire to return to broadcasting. Recently, he has been using his YouTube channel to communicate with fans and explain his stance.
