Jin Tae-hyun Updates Fans on Post-Cancer Surgery Recovery: 'All Clear!'

Actor Jin Tae-hyun has shared positive news regarding his recovery, 86 days after undergoing surgery for thyroid cancer.

On the 17th, Jin Tae-hyun posted an image on his social media account stating, "Day 86 after cancer surgery." He further elaborated, "Hospital check-up blood tests, thyroid levels are completely normal, and all other levels are also normal," confirming his excellent health status.

He also expressed his affection for his wife, actress Park Si-eun, writing, "My heart is completely normal too, and my love for my wife is at its peak." In a separate post, Jin Tae-hyun reassured his fans, "I am healthy. I will become even healthier by the next check-up," easing any concerns.

Previously, Jin Tae-hyun was diagnosed with early-stage thyroid cancer during a health check-up with his wife Park Si-eun in April. Although the tumor was small, surgery was recommended to prevent metastasis. He had maintained a positive attitude, asking for fans' encouragement. Even before the surgery, he continued with his scheduled filming and international commitments while also spending time traveling and exercising with his wife.

Jin Tae-hyun had his thyroid cancer surgery in June and has shown a swift recovery. His initial outpatient visit confirmed normal thyroid levels, and fortunately, there was no metastasis and no need for chemotherapy, bringing joyous news to his fans.

Jin Tae-hyun debuted in the 2001 MBC drama 'Hur Jun' and has since actively participated in numerous dramas and films, showcasing his consistent acting career. He delivered memorable performances in works such as 'I'll Go to You When the Weather Is Nice' and 'Modern Farmer'. He married actress Park Si-eun in 2015 and they have a daughter.
