Kim Sung-oh Makes a Powerful Debut as a Hot-Tempered Detective in 'Mr. President Project'

Actor Kim Sung-oh has made a striking first appearance as the hot-tempered detective Choi Cheol in the new tvN Monday-Tuesday drama 'Mr. President Project'.

In the second episode, broadcast on the 16th, Choi Cheol, a police sergeant at the Maheon precinct, was introduced with a roar in an apartment hallway, immediately revealing the character's personality and establishing a strong presence.

His rough handling of a difficult civilian's call at the precinct delivered catharsis through realistic dialogue and his signature direct acting style.

Notably, upon encountering Han Suk-kyu's character, Mr. President, Kim Sung-oh skillfully shifted from an intense demeanor to a calm one, controlling the scene's atmosphere. Choi Cheol alluded to a long-standing connection with Mr. President by mentioning a past incident and acted as an informant by confirming the details of the truck driver Oh Jin-ho, who had threatened Mr. President, thus heightening curiosity about their hidden story.
