Jang Dong-min's Daughter Ji-woo Becomes a Protective 'Big Sister' for Younger Brother Si-woo on 'The Return of Superman'

Comedian Jang Dong-min's daughter, Ji-woo, is set to showcase her role as a protective older sister to her younger brother, Si-woo, on the popular KBS 2TV show 'The Return of Superman' (hereinafter referred to as 'Superman').

'Superman', which first aired in 2013, has been a beloved show for 13 years, establishing itself as the nation's favorite parenting entertainment program. Recently, participant Jung-woo ranked within the top 10 for two consecutive weeks in the TV-OTT non-drama cast topicality category, proving his immense popularity as the youngest cast member. The show also received the Presidential Commendation in July during the 14th 'Population Day' commemoration, further solidifying its status.

The upcoming 590th episode, titled 'Holding Onto the End of Summer,' will feature the three main MCs Park Soo-hong, Choi Ji-woo, and Ahn Young-mi, along with supermom Kim Yoon-ji. The episode will highlight Jang Dong-min's creation of a special 'DM Water Park' for his children, Ji-woo and Si-woo. When Si-woo hesitates in front of a gushing waterslide, Ji-woo encourages him, saying, 'It's okay, you can do it.' MC Park Soo-hong was touched by her actions, exclaiming, 'How can you take care of your sibling so well?'

Later, Ji-woo transforms into a 'defense fairy' to shield Si-woo from her father Jang Dong-min's playful water gun attacks. Her strategic support for her younger brother while fending off their father's assaults impresses everyone. Empowered by his sister's strong backing, Si-woo bravely confronts his father with a water gun as big as himself, filling the studio with laughter. Ahn Young-mi cheered for the siblings' fantastic teamwork, urging, 'You two need to attack together!' In the end, Jang Dong-min surrendered, overwhelmed by the perfect synergy between Ji-woo and Si-woo.
