Actor Lee Byung-hun has once again highlighted his profound affection for Jeyuk Bokkeum (spicy stir-fried pork).

During the Actor's House talk event at the 30th Busan International Film Festival, held at the Shinhan Card Hall of Dongseong University's Sohyang Theater on the evening of the 19th, Lee Byung-hun shared anecdotes about his 'soul food' that had the audience in stitches.

His remarkable fondness for Korean cuisine, especially Jeyuk Bokkeum, has recently gained attention through his wife, actress Lee Min-jung's YouTube channel, where she mentions making it almost daily. This has cemented Jeyuk Bokkeum as Lee Byung-hun's ultimate comfort food.

When a fan inquired, "Did you eat Jeyuk Bokkeum even in Busan?" Lee Byung-hun responded with a smile, "This is my third day in Busan, and I've already had it twice," eliciting surprised laughter from the crowd.

He humorously added, "I didn't realize so many people knew about my love for Jeyuk Bokkeum. But it's a dish I simply can't give up," drawing more laughter. He even recalled visiting a Korean restaurant for Jeyuk Bokkeum before checking into his hotel when he attended the Cannes Film Festival for 'Emergency Declaration', emphasizing his status as a true 'Hansik fan'. He mentioned that dishes like Jeyuk Bokkeum and Duruchigi are especially missed when abroad.

Lee Byung-hun made his acting debut in 1991 as part of KBS's 14th batch of actors, beginning his career with the drama 'My Love Fabiola'. Throughout his extensive acting career, he has established himself as a leading actor in Korea and is recognized globally for his active participation in Hollywood productions.
