SBS Friday-Saturday drama 'The Wasp: Killer's Outing' recorded a viewership rating of 6.9%, securing the top spot in its time slot.

The 5th episode, aired on the 19th, saw serial killer 'The Wasp' Jung Yi-shin (played by Ko Hyun-jung) escalating tension by provoking the copycat killer. The peak rating soared to 7.8%, proving the show's buzzworthiness.

Following the death of prime suspect Seo Gu-wan in the copycat murder case, another suspect, Park Min-jae, was released. Jung Yi-shin visited Cha Su-yeol's (played by Jang Dong-yoon) home, saying, "I missed you. The person next to you," enraging Cha Su-yeol. Park Min-jae also shook Cha Su-yeol by accurately assessing that he envied Jung Yi-shin and rationalized his actions by labeling him a demon.

Meanwhile, the copycat killer began to make their move by sending a phone containing murder footage to Cha Su-yeol. The serial murder investigation team discovered a woman named 'Joy' whom Park Min-jae and previous victims had followed on a dating app, leading them to seek Jung Yi-shin's help in the investigation. Jung Yi-shin, by provoking the killer's pride, obtained crucial information. The team, catching a clue about the 'final scene,' identified a famous opera singer as a suspect.

However, an unexpected twist unfolded. Park Min-jae, attempting to provoke 'Joy' alone, fell into danger. Upon learning this, Cha Su-yeol rushed to save him, only to find Park Min-jae tied up in a dreadful state. The episode concluded with Cha Su-yeol's desperate cry upon seeing him.

Ko Hyun-jung is delivering a powerful performance as the charismatic serial killer 'The Wasp,' Jung Yi-shin, in this drama. Her nuanced emotional acting enhances the viewer's immersion and leaves a lasting impression. Her role is highly anticipated as the unpredictable story unfolds.
