In JTBC's Friday-Saturday series 'My Youth', Song Joong-ki (playing Seon Woo-hae) was seen smiling brightly after receiving a heartfelt confession from Cheon Woo-hee (playing Seong Je-yeon).
The 5th and 6th episodes saw the hearts of the two characters finally connect. Seong Je-yeon, realizing her feelings, honestly confessed to Seon Woo-hae, "I like you." This unexpected confession provided great comfort to Seon Woo-hae, who had been having a difficult day, making him exclaim, "The world is beautiful," adding to the tender excitement for viewers.
Following their previous kiss, Seong Je-yeon confided her romantic worries to Moo Tae-rin (played by Lee Joo-myung), while Seon Woo-hae couldn't suppress his longing for Seong Je-yeon and reached out. Seong Je-yeon's heart was moved by Seon Woo-hae's sincere confession, but due to the preciousness of her first love, she hesitated to quickly develop their relationship and initially rejected him. However, Seon Woo-hae responded positively, stating that it would be enough if she could prioritize him as something other than 'friend 2'.
Meanwhile, Seon Woo-hae visited Seong Je-yeon's company for the contract renewal of his film 'A World Made of Glass' Part 3. Seeing Seong Je-yeon struggling because of him, he felt distressed. Seong Je-yeon, reflecting during an unexpected 6-year forced vacation, became even more certain of her feelings for Seon Woo-hae.
Towards the end of the episode, Seon Woo-hae was diagnosed with a rare disease, 'Amyloidosis,' plunging him into despair.
