KATSEYE Soars on UK Official & Spotify Charts with 'Beautiful Chaos'

Global girl group KATSEYE, a collaboration between HYBE and Geffen Records, is continuing its impressive ascent, breaking personal bests on both the UK Official Charts and Spotify.

According to the UK Official Charts released on September 19th (local time), 'Gabriela,' a track from KATSEYE's second EP ‘BEAUTIFUL CHAOS,’ secured the 39th position on the Official Singles Chart for the week of September 19-25. This song initially entered the chart at number 42 upon its release in June, took a brief hiatus after staying on the chart for about a month, and then re-entered in early August. Notably, the track has seen a remarkable seven-week streak of climbing the charts, spurred by their performance at Lollapalooza Chicago, showcasing an unusual surge in popularity three months after its release.

KATSEYE has also set new records on Spotify, the world's largest music streaming platform. The latest update on September 19th for the ‘Weekly Top Songs Global’ chart (September 12-18) saw 'Gabriela' jump five places to claim the 11th spot, marking a new peak. With 13 consecutive weeks on the chart, the group is now nearing the coveted Top 10.

Other tracks from the EP are also performing strongly. 'Gnarly' climbed 14 spots to reach 68th on Spotify's ‘Weekly Top Songs Global’ this week, marking its 20th consecutive week on the chart. 'Touch' also joined the ranks of long-running popular songs, landing at 157th with 17 weeks on the chart.

The group's monthly listeners on Spotify continue to grow steadily, surpassing 30 million on September 16th and reaching 30,626,557 in the latest count (August 22nd - September 18th). This figure is considered remarkable, especially for a group that has just entered its second year since debut.

KATSEYE has also achieved significant milestones on the US Billboard charts. In the latest Billboard charts (dated September 20th), 'Gabriela' climbed to a career-high of 57th on the ‘Hot 100.’ Furthermore, their album ‘Beautiful Chaos,’ which features this track, has remained on the ‘Billboard 200’ chart for 11 consecutive weeks after peaking at number 4.
