Long-time friend Cha Tae-hyun made a guest appearance on 'Running Man,' causing immense laughter by perpetuating ongoing marriage rumors surrounding Kim Jong-kook.

During the broadcast on the 21st, Cha Tae-hyun took on the role of 'Cha Un-bio' (Cha Tae-hyun + rumor spreader), actively contributing to the comical situation.

Upon Kim Jong-kook's arrival, the cast immediately teased him as the 'new groom,' much to Kim Jong-kook's distress as he repeatedly pleaded for them to stop. The members' desire to playfully tease him even more after his wedding provided significant comedic moments.

The production team introduced Cha Tae-hyun as a special guest, remarking that there was much to discuss regarding Kim Jong-kook's recent activities. It was revealed that Cha Tae-hyun was, in fact, the instigator behind spreading the rumor of Kim Jong-kook's supposed marriage in LA, even fabricating details about him having children in the U.S.

When Yoo Jae-suk mentioned that Kim Jong-kook found Cha Tae-hyun to be overwhelming, Kim Jong-kook chimed in, stating that Cha Tae-hyun 'cannot distinguish between what should and shouldn't be said,' adding to the hilarity.

Cha Tae-hyun humorously recounted how Kim Jong-kook's mother seemed indifferent when he congratulated her, saying she responded with a simple 'Yes, well.' He joked that he wondered if she didn't recognize him and went back three times after taking off his glasses, even suspecting she was upset with him for spreading rumors.

The cast continued to playfully inquire about the profession of Kim Jong-kook's supposed wife, prompting Cha Tae-hyun to suggest, 'Let's start making things up now.' He proposed fabricating details about Kim Jong-kook's age and occupation if he didn't provide any information, leading to further explosive laughter.

Ultimately, Cha Tae-hyun escalated the joke by expressing 'reasonable suspicion' that the entire marriage might have been an act. Yoo Jae-suk joined in, suggesting it could have all been a part-time job. Cha Tae-hyun concluded by humorously noting that 'it cost a lot for an act,' but still offered congratulations on the wedding.
