Go So-young Recalls Lee Jung-jae's 'Beggar-like' Appearances
Actress Go So-young has shared a humorous anecdote about her close friend, actor Lee Jung-jae, who sometimes appeared in a rather disheveled state during their private meetings.
Appearing on the YouTube channel ‘KBS Entertain’s ‘Go So-young’s Pubstaurant,’ Go So-young was discussing fan reactions with fellow actors Park Ji-hwan and Choi Gwi-hwa when she brought up the story.
While Choi Gwi-hwa and Park Ji-hwan expressed their aspirations for international activities, Go So-young mentioned Lee Jung-jae, who enjoys immense global popularity following his role in 'Squid Game.' She recounted, “When I’d meet Lee Jung-jae privately, he would often look like he was in rags, so I’d ask if something was wrong, and he would then explain the situation he was going through,” highlighting their comfortable friendship.
Meanwhile, Lee Jung-jae recently concluded a legal dispute, achieving victory in a lawsuit for damages filed by his agency Artist Company and others against the former CEO of Kim Mo Artist Studio (formerly Raemongraein).
Go So-young made her debut as a commercial model in 1992 and rose to stardom through dramas like 'Jealousy' and 'Model.' She garnered significant attention for her bold performance in the 2001 film 'Break Out' and later expanded her acting range in various projects such as 'Lover's Concerto' and 'My New Partner.' In 2017, she married actor Jang Dong-gun, with whom she has one son and one daughter.
