Actor Moon Seung-yu has made a captivating debut on tvN's drama 'The Tyrant's Chef,' significantly heightening the show's immersion. In the 6th episode aired on the 7th, Moon Seung-yu took on the role of Abi-su, a master chef from the Ming Dynasty, showcasing spectacular culinary performances and sharp, intense acting that commanded attention.

Within the narrative, Abi-su is the nephew and disciple of Dang Baek-ryong (played by Jo Jae-yun), a Ming Dynasty culinary master. He is renowned as the 'Sichuan Culinary Fairy' for creating new traditions by blending Sichuan cuisine with dishes from other regions. Moon Seung-yu's portrayal, complete with fluent Chinese dialogue and nuanced emotional expression, earned widespread acclaim.

During this episode, Abi-su prepared a meal for Woo Gon (played by Kim Hyung-mook), who found Joseon food unpalatable, demonstrating culinary skills akin to martial arts prowess.
