Lee Soo-geun and Seo Jang-hoon expressed their anger over a story about a grandparent raising their grandchild late in life, which was featured on the KBS Joy show 'Ask Us Anything Fortune' (Mu-eot-do-deun Mul-eo-bo-sal) episode 332.

The guest shared their experience of raising their eldest daughter's children, leading to conflicts with their daughter due to differing parenting styles. Upon hearing this, Lee Soo-geun immediately pointed to the son-in-law as the source of the problem, stating, "If they gave you enough money, would you be here? You wouldn't need to help if they compensated you properly." Seo Jang-hoon agreed, emphasizing that the issue wasn't just pocket money but the actual parenting.

The guest revealed they had decided not to accept any child-rearing expenses for the sake of their daughter and son-in-law's future. They even recounted an incident where they were reported to the police for letting the grandchildren play outside on a rainy day. Seo Jang-hoon criticized this, saying, "If you're going to be like that, you should raise them yourself." Lee Soo-geun reiterated his stance, emphasizing that parents have plans when they have children and those plans shouldn't be solely on the grandparent, adding, "If you're worried, raise them yourself. The son-in-law is the problem."

When the guest mentioned the son-in-law works for a large corporation, Lee Soo-geun retorted, "Working for a big company? At least send them on a trip then," siding with the guest.
