Kim Soo-yong Missed Out on Billion-Dollar Opportunity, Reveals 'Radio Star'

Comedian and television personality Kim Soo-yong shared a story on the show 'Radio Star' about a missed opportunity that could have made him billions.

During the 'Rich Dad, Poor Body' special episode aired on MBC on the 10th, Kim Soo-yong was asked by MC Kim Gu-ra about a comfortable pair of shoes he once recommended.

Kim Gu-ra alluded to the possibility that Kim Soo-yong might have been an early investor in a shoe brand that later became a massive success. When fellow MC Yoo Se-yoon mentioned a popular L brand sneaker, Kim Soo-yong admitted that he had a 5% stake in the company before it took off, lamenting that he almost became incredibly wealthy. The current value of that 5% stake is estimated to be in the tens of billions of Korean won.

Responding to a joke about missing his 'lifetime's biggest fortune', Kim Soo-yong humorously stated, "I am very sad," leaving the audience in laughter. 'Radio Star' airs every Wednesday at 10:30 PM.
