A heated exchange between radio DJ Boom and the group 'Ppongtan Boys,' alongside veteran entertainer Lee Kyung-kyu, unfolded live on SBS's 'Hantang Project,' leaving viewers stunned.

The episode aired on the 11th featured the Ppongtan Boys and Lee Kyung-kyu as guests on Boom's popular radio show, 'Boom Boom Power.' Tensions quickly escalated during pre-broadcast interactions.

Boom initiated the friction by questioning the Ppongtan Boys' formal greeting style, prompting a sharp retort from Tak Jae-hoon about the necessity of such formality. While Boom expressed greetings to Lee Kyung-kyu and Tak Jae-hoon, Tak Jae-hoon subtly brought up past rumors of a falling out between Boom and Lee Kyung-kyu, which Lee Kyung-kyu vehemently denied.

Further fueling the tension, Boom alluded to Lee Kyung-kyu stepping in as a 'last-minute replacement' for BTS on his radio show, angering the Ppongtan Boys. Throughout the broadcast, Boom continued to criticize the group's performance and readiness, culminating in him physically ushering the members off the set, shouting, 'Get out, you 'deoldeoli's'!'

The live stream was flooded with comments calling it a 'broadcast accident' and urging them to 'stop fighting.' In the ensuing chaos, Choo Sung-hoon even tore Boom's clothing. Lee Kyung-kyu quipped that they wouldn't be returning to 'Boom Boom Power,' while Han La cheered for 'Cultwo Show,' adding a humorous twist. The situation ended with a bewildered Boom demanding the PD call the police.
