Renowned sports caster Jung Yong-gum has officially announced he is in a romantic relationship. Appearing on the YouTube channel 'Jeong Geun-woo's Baseball Life' on the 11th, Jung shared, "I started dating a girlfriend this year." He further described her as someone with shared interests and who gets along well with his close friends, ideal for "sharing every moment together."

When host Jeong Geun-woo mentioned the word 'wife,' Jung responded, "That's how I see her," indicating serious intentions about marriage. Reflecting on his current happiness, he stated, "I'm more successful now than I ever dreamed of as a child," and "My goal is to sustain this current situation long-term."

He also expressed his affection for the popular program 'Flaming Baseball,' adding, "It feels good to live my week anticipating this show. I want to hold onto this excitement for a long time."

Also joining the broadcast was baseball player Choi Soo-hyun, who shared his candid thoughts on turning professional. Choi admitted, "My dream was always to go pro, but I've changed my mindset to accept that it's not entirely within my control. I'm focusing on doing my best right where I am now," finding peace in this approach.

Jung Yong-gum joined MBC SPORTS+ as an announcer in 2011 and has covered a wide range of sports including KBO, MLB, basketball, and soccer. He is recognized as a top-tier caster with extensive experience in international events like the Pyeongchang Winter Olympics and Tokyo Olympics. After leaving the network in 2022, he became a freelancer and currently leads the 'Flaming Baseball' broadcasts.
