Actress Han So-hee caused a stir at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) with a surprisingly humble remark about her own appearance. While attending a 'Close-Up with...' session on September 12th (local time) for her film 'Project Y', alongside co-star Jeon Jong-seo, Han was shown a video montage of her career highlights.

Upon seeing footage from her earlier days, the 32-year-old actress playfully quipped, "Looking back at my debut, I get a very basic thought. I think I've gotten quite old now." This self-deprecating humor brought laughter from the audience, many of whom had been showering her with compliments, calling her "so beautiful!" even before the talk began.

Despite her modesty, Han emphasized her commitment to growth as an actress, stating, "With every new project I'm gratefully given, I constantly ponder how I can approach it differently and show a new side to you all. The times are so fast-paced now, keeping up with the trends feels like an ongoing assignment." 'Project Y', which screens in TIFF's Special Presentations, follows two women, Mi-sun (Han) and Do-kyung (Jeon), who team up to steal hidden money and gold to escape their harsh reality.

Han So-hee debuted in 2017 and quickly gained recognition for her striking visuals.

She has since starred in major productions like 'The World of the Married', 'Nevertheless', and 'My Name'.

Her upcoming project includes the second season of the Netflix series 'Gyeongseong Creature'.
