Budding actress Lee Shin-hyang, daughter of veteran actor Lee Chul-min, is set to make her acting debut after being cast in the play 'Special Boeing Boeing'.

Lee Shin-hyang reportedly secured her role after triumphing over a highly competitive audition process with a staggering 100 to 1 applicant ratio. Notably, she achieved this feat independently, without any assistance from her established actor father, drawing attention to her determination.

The play, 'Special Boeing Boeing,' is scheduled to run from November 1st to February 1st of next year at the Starlet Hall in Daehangno. This comedy revolves around a philandering pilot juggling three flight attendant girlfriends. Based on a popular French original, the production has been adapted and consistently well-received in South Korea since 2001 by director Son Nam-mok, maintaining a strong audience base for 24 years.

Having majored in musical theater at Hanyang Women's University, Lee Shin-hyang will portray Ji-soo, an overly affectionate and charming flight attendant. She has recently been gaining recognition for her appearances on the tvN STORY entertainment show 'My Kid's Romance' alongside her father, Lee Chul-min.
