K-pop powerhouse MONSTA X has successfully wrapped up promotions for their latest mini-album, 'THE X,' marking their return as a complete group after approximately five years.

The group, consisting of Shownu, Minhyuk, Kihyun, Hyungwon, Joohoney, and I.M, concluded their activities on SBS's 'Inkigayo' on the 14th. Overcoming military service hiatuses, the six members showcased their signature 'trustworthy and explosive performances,' reaffirming their strong presence in the music scene.

This comeback served as a significant milestone, coinciding with MONSTA X's 10th debut anniversary. The pre-release track 'Do What I Want,' with lyrics and music by Joohoney and lyrics by I.M, heralded the album's arrival, while 'THE X' further solidified the group's distinct identity.

The album highlights the members' self-producing capabilities, with Hyungwon, Joohoney, and I.M playing key roles in its creation. The title track, 'N the Front,' impressively displayed their broad musical spectrum by featuring vocal and rap line members boldly crossing over each other's positions. It delivered a powerful declaration to the K-pop world: 'Facing forward without retreat.' Hyungwon also contributed as DJ H.ONE, releasing a remix of the title track, adding another layer of auditory enjoyment.

Beyond music shows, the members actively engaged with fans through various web entertainment programs and original content. Shownu solidified his presence as a fixed MC on a web variety show, while other members showcased their wit and charm on numerous other series, proving their versatility as 'variety show guarantees.'

Notably, MONSTA X achieved their personal best in first-week album sales ('initial sales') with this release, underscoring their decade-long experience and ongoing momentum. As anticipation builds for their future endeavors following this impactful full-group comeback, the members shared their reflections on concluding the album's promotions.

With their 10th anniversary in focus, MONSTA X's 'THE X' mini-album features significant participation from members in songwriting and production, deepening their artistic expression. The powerful title track 'N the Front' resonated with fans for its assertive message and dynamic performance. Joohoney is set to expand his solo ventures as the sole MC for the upcoming web variety show 'Good Deed Center - Shim Cheong' scheduled for release in October.
