Actress Lee Yoo-young Ties the Knot One Year After Welcoming Daughter

Actress Lee Yoo-young will finally hold her wedding ceremony today, May 21st, one year after the birth of her daughter.

Lee Yoo-young is set to marry her non-celebrity husband at a venue in Seoul. The couple officially registered their marriage in May of last year and welcomed their first child, a daughter, in August of the same year.

The news of their marriage first broke in July last year, shortly after the conclusion of the KBS 2TV drama ‘Dare to Love Me’. However, at the time, Lee Yoo-young was six months pregnant, and with her due date approaching, a formal wedding ceremony was postponed.

Leading up to the ceremony, Lee Yoo-young and her husband shared their sentiments on their wedding invitation. They expressed, "We have already built a life together as a couple and have nurtured our love and trust through the time we've spent walking side-by-side. Now, we wish to formally exchange vows in the presence of our families and close friends." They added a heartfelt wish, "We would be grateful if you would bless our future, so that we may live more beautifully than flowers and warmer than sunshine."

Since her debut in the 2012 short film 'Flowers Don't Fade...', Lee Yoo-young has showcased a wide range of acting skills across numerous projects. Notably, she played a significant role as a paramedic in the critically acclaimed film ‘Hero’ last year, which drew 3.85 million viewers. Most recently, she made a special appearance in the tvN drama ‘Seocho-dong’, drawing attention with her continued captivating presence.

Lee Yoo-young has consistently pursued her acting career since her 2012 debut, earning recognition for her versatile performances in both independent and commercial films.
