Actress Ko A-sung Expresses Gratitude to President Lee Jae-myung After 'Times of the Theater' Screening

Actress Ko A-sung has extended her sincere thanks to President Lee Jae-myung.

On the 20th, Ko A-sung shared a post on her social media, writing, "To find such a small film.. Thank you, Mr. President! ♥" along with a photograph.

The revealed photo captures a warm moment of President Lee Jae-myung shaking hands with Ko A-sung during his visit to the Busan International Film Festival.

President Lee, accompanied by his wife Kim Hye-kyung, attended the 30th Busan International Film Festival that day to watch 'Times of the Theater,' a film starring Ko A-sung. Following the screening, the presidential couple participated in a talk event with the director and actors.

'Times of the Theater' is an anthology film composed of two short films, directed by Lee Jong-pil and Yoon Ga-eun, created to shed new light on the meaning of theaters and art films. Ko A-sung played the role of a director in the second episode, helmed by director Yoon Ga-eun.

Ko A-sung made her debut in the 2004 film 'Innocent Steps,' quickly gaining recognition. She has since solidified her position as a talented young actress in Chungmuro with memorable performances in 'The Host,' 'Swell Season,' and 'Snowpiercer.' Her acting prowess spans diverse characters across both television and film, showcasing a remarkable range.
