In the premiere episode of tvN STORY's 'Gakjipbubu' (Each House Couple) on the 4th, singer Kim Jung-min and his wife Rumiko's three sons showcased remarkable maturity and deep filial affection, drawing widespread admiration. The episode followed Rumiko and her youngest son Dam-yul as they relocated to Japan to support their two elder sons, Taeyang and Doyoon, who were selected to represent Japan's youth soccer team for their studies.

Doyoon, the second son, displayed a thoughtful side by insisting on cooking a lobster dish specially prepared by his mother. He movingly declared, "They say raising one child costs over 200 million won, and since I play soccer, it'll be double that. I'll pay it back tenfold as a professional soccer player." His heartfelt promise touched everyone present.

The eldest, Taeyang, also showed his dependable older brother instincts by managing Dam-yul's gaming hours and correcting his posture. Rumiko revealed that maintaining separate households in Korea and Japan had doubled their living expenses, acknowledging her husband Kim Jung-min's significant contribution. The sons, in turn, expressed profound gratitude to their father, saying, "We could come to Japan thanks to Dad," and "We can live like this because of Dad," during a video call filled with love.

Rumiko is a Japanese entertainer and singer who married Korean rocker Kim Jung-min and has three sons. She has gained popularity in Korea through various entertainment programs, known for her fluent Korean and candid charm. Recently, she has been commuting between Korea and Japan to support her children's education.
