Veteran actor Lee Sung-min appeared on SBS's popular variety show 'My Little Old Boy' (Mom's Diary: Brother's Intention), sharing intimate details about his family life that captivated the audience.

During the broadcast, Lee Sung-min discussed his daughter, who is now 24 years old, revealing her strong opposition to pursuing a career in acting. He shared, "She adamantly stated that she would never become an actress," adding that his wife, who majored in dance, also advised their daughter against the profession.

In a surprising turn, it was revealed that his daughter is currently majoring in production in the theater and film department. Lee Sung-min further astonished everyone by mentioning that he had been asked to appear in her graduation project but declined. When Shin Dong-yeop inquired if she felt disappointed, Lee Sung-min responded, "Being a Gyeongsangdo daughter, she probably feels proud even if she pretends not to care," hinting at his daughter's pride in him.

He also humorously confessed that his daughter confides more in her mother about personal matters, but "only contacts her dad when she needs money." The actor also found himself flustered by rumors of never having gifted his wife anything for their 25th wedding anniversary, admitting he forgot their anniversary date, which coincidentally falls on "Couple's Day," earning him the nickname 'the daring man'.

Lee Sung-min began his acting career on the theater stage in the 1980s and transitioned to television dramas and films in the 2000s, showcasing his robust acting skills. He has garnered widespread popularity through diverse roles in hit productions like 'Misaeng: Incomplete Life,' 'The President's Man,' and 'Reborn Rich.' His versatile acting, transcending various genres, has earned him the reputation of being a 'trustworthy actor.'
