Lee Hyo-ri Opens Yoga Studio in Seoul, Shares Humorous First Class Experience

K-pop icon Lee Hyo-ri has opened a yoga studio in Seoul and shared her candid thoughts on her very first class.

During the 'Monthly Lee Hyo-ri' segment on MBC FM4U's 'Perfect Day with Lee Sang-soon' broadcast on the 9th, the singer discussed her recent activities. "I've been quite busy this past month," she remarked, announcing the opening of her yoga business.

Lee Hyo-ri noted the different reception compared to when she ran a studio in Jeju. "Running a yoga studio in Jeju for a long time, I thought it wasn't a big news item. But opening one in Seoul feels quite different," she confessed. She recounted her initial teaching experience: "I started yesterday and have taught four classes so far. It's been a while, so I was a bit flustered, unsure of what to teach." She described the studio as a "healing space" free from the clutter often found at home, allowing for focused practice.

She also shared a funny anecdote about the students' reactions. "The reservations were incredibly competitive, like a ticket-pegging event. It felt awkward telling them to close their eyes when they came specifically to see me," she admitted with a laugh. "When I told them to leave after class, they looked like they were thinking, 'Do I have to go already?'"

Lee Hyo-ri debuted in 1998 as a member of the iconic K-pop group Fin.K.L. and later achieved massive solo success, earning the title of 'Nation's Fairy'. Beyond her music career, she has made a significant impact in variety shows and acting. After marrying singer Lee Sang-soon in 2013, she embraced a nature-focused lifestyle in Jeju Island, and has recently relocated to Seoul to embark on new ventures.
