Actor Lee Jang-woo has addressed concerns about leaving the popular MBC show 'Home Alone' following news of his upcoming November wedding. It turns out these worries were unfounded, as his new variety program, 'Village Chief Lee Jang-woo 2,' will feature a star-studded guest lineup from 'Home Alone.'

'Village Chief Lee Jang-woo 2' follows Lee Jang-woo as he resides in a quiet village in Ganghwa, interacting with locals and learning recipes from artisans to showcase the charm of the region. The show is more than just a lifestyle program; it's positioned as a 'local revitalization project' aimed at bringing vitality to the community through shared laughter and stories.

Adding to the excitement, the new season boasts a significant cast of guests. Many members with strong ties to 'Home Alone,' including Kian84, Park Na-rae, Lee Ju-seung, Kim Dae-ho, and Khani, are confirmed to appear, leading to reactions that fears of his departure were premature. The ensemble is further enhanced by Hong Seok-cheon, Jeong Jun-ha, Super Junior's Leeteuk, and acclaimed chef Kim Mi-ryeong, promising dynamic chemistry with Lee Jang-woo.

The recently released poster captures Lee Jang-woo holding fresh ingredients against a backdrop of the sea, alongside the text 'Jang-woo's Turnip Field,' sparking curiosity about his rural life in Ganghwa and setting the tone for the new season. 'Village Chief Lee Jang-woo 2' is scheduled to premiere on Tuesday, September 30th, at 9 PM.

Meanwhile, Lee Jang-woo and actress Cho Hye-won are set to tie the knot on November 23rd in a private ceremony. Although his wedding sparked rumors of leaving 'Home Alone,' sources indicate that Lee Jang-woo recently completed filming for the Turkey episode, marking the final 'palm oil' gathering. However, he plans to continue appearing on 'Home Alone' until his wedding this winter.

Lee Jang-woo and Cho Hye-won began their public relationship in June 2023, having met on the KBS2 weekend drama 'My Only One' in 2019. After seven years together, the couple is now set to marry.

Lee Jang-woo made his acting debut in the 2006 KBS drama '90 Days, Time to Love.'

Beyond his acting career, he has gained popularity for his appearances on variety shows like 'Home Alone,' showcasing his versatile talents.

He is particularly known for his 'Palm Oil Trio' activities and is praised for his impressive culinary skills.
