Actress Shin Ye-eun is set to once again captivate audiences in a period drama, this time as a charming bus attendant in JTBC's new weekend series, ‘100 Years of Memory’.

The drama unfolds in the vibrant 1980s, focusing on the blossoming friendship between bus conductress Go Young-young (played by Kim Da-mi) and Seo Jong-hee (Shin Ye-eun), alongside their fated love for Han Jae-pil (Heo Nam-joon). This retro-infused youth melodrama aims to evoke nostalgia and heartfelt emotions.

Shin Ye-eun, who previously impressed in 'The Glory' and 'Yumi's Cells', will portray Seo Jong-hee, a character described as a "girl crush" with abundant charisma and playful energy. Director Kim Sang-ho praised her performance, noting her instinctive acting and quick wit, which perfectly suited the role and offered a distinct contrast to Kim Da-mi's character.

Discussing her approach to period pieces, Shin Ye-eun shared her knack for immersing herself in different eras. She emphasized the importance of meticulous research, including vocal training and understanding historical customs, to portray characters authentically. She expressed confidence in her ability to adapt to any setting, stating, "I believe my face and image aren't overly unique, allowing me to blend seamlessly into any situation or time period."

‘100 Years of Memory’ is scheduled to premiere on the 13th at 10:30 PM.

Shin Ye-eun first gained significant attention for her role in the web drama 'A-TEEN' in 2018.

Her fresh and appealing visuals quickly garnered a large fanbase, leading to diverse roles in subsequent dramas and films that showcased her growing acting range.

Notably, her recent appearance in 'The Glory' left a strong impression despite a limited role, marking a successful transformation in her acting career.
