
Lee Kyung-kyu Explodes in Anger Over 'Bongtan Sonyeondan' Event Hijacking Controversy
Veteran entertainer Lee Kyung-kyu was furious on the latest episode of SBS's 'Hangtang Project - My Turn' due to a controversy involving members of 'Bongtan Sonyeondan' allegedly hijacking a performance.
The episode featured trot veteran Jin Sung confronting the 'Bongtan Sonyeondan' members, including Tak Jae-hoon, Kim Won-hoon, and Lee Su-ji. Jin Sung expressed his strong displeasure, accusing the group of undermining the discipline and reputation of the trot music scene.
The situation escalated when comedian Jung Yi-rang, playing the character Patty Ja, appeared and was disrespected by the group. This led to Patty Ja ordering the members to do push-ups, only for Lee Kyung-kyu to intervene. However, Jin Sung's revelation that 'Bongtan Sonyeondan' had allegedly snatched a scheduled event intensified Lee Kyung-kyu's anger.
Despite initial denials from Lee Kyung-kyu and the accused members, a social media post showing them performing at the disputed event was presented as evidence, pushing Lee Kyung-kyu over the edge. He subsequently ordered Tak Jae-hoon, Kim Won-hoon, and Lee Su-ji to perform push-ups, bringing the chaotic situation to a head.
