Chef Lee Hye-jung Recounts Catching Husband's Affair, Confronts Other Woman

Renowned culinary researcher Lee Hye-jung has revealed a shocking experience from her past when she caught her doctor husband having an affair.

Appearing on MBN's 'Dongchimi,' Lee recounted the moment she encountered her husband and another woman exiting an elevator, sensing infidelity immediately. Enraged, she pursued her husband and managed to apprehend him.

Instead of resorting to immediate violence, Lee let him go, telling him to "come home early." She admitted to feeling anxious as her husband did not return home until very late that night.

Upon his eventual return after midnight, her husband confessed his love for another woman. Lee Hye-jung then tracked down and confronted the other woman, who also had a family. Lee firmly told her not to "entice" her husband, bringing the situation to a temporary halt.

Reflecting on the incident years later, Lee's husband explained that his anger towards her at the time stemmed from his immense fear of losing her. He admitted he was worried she might leave him, especially when she was earning a lot of money.
