
‘Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – To the Swordsmith Village–’ Holds Box Office Top Spot for Two Consecutive Days; ‘It Can’t Be Helped’ Tops Pre-Sale Reservations
The animated film ‘Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – To the Swordsmith Village–’ (hereafter ‘Demon Slayer’) has maintained its position at the top of the box office for two days in a row.
According to the Korean Film Council’s integrated computer network for movie admissions, ‘Demon Slayer’ attracted 156,120 viewers on the 13th, bringing its cumulative audience to 4,346,072, thus securing the number one spot for the second consecutive day.
Following in second place is director Yeon Sang-ho’s new film ‘Face’, which garnered 120,355 viewers, accumulating a total of 208,961. ‘F1 The Movie’ secured third place with 33,615 viewers, pushing its cumulative audience to 5,013,445, making it the second film this year to surpass the 5 million viewer mark.
‘The Conjuring: Last Ritual’ ranked fourth with 32,911 viewers, bringing its total to 342,804. ‘Killer Report’ came in fifth, attracting 29,868 viewers for a cumulative total of 274,172.
Meanwhile, director Park Chan-wook’s upcoming film ‘It Can’t Be Helped’ currently leads real-time ticket reservations as of 9:30 AM on the 14th, with a 37.9% share. The film is set to be released on the 24th.
