The highly anticipated action hero series 'Twelve' has captivated viewers with its seventh episode, plunging into a desperate crisis and heading towards its climax. The drama, which features 12 angels fighting against evil forces to protect the human world, focused its spotlight in episode 7, aired on the 13th, not only on the tender romance between Park Hyeong-sik (as Oh-gwi) and Lee Joo-bin (as Mir) but also on the revealed backstory of why Oh-gwi sided with the enemy.

The episode depicted the secret love affair between the human Oh-gwi and the angel Mir, who exists to protect humans, over a thousand years ago, defying divine rules. Oh-gwi, possessing the special ability to detect demons, was heartbroken by the impossibility of spending eternity with the immortal angel Mir. While striving to be chosen by God to live among the angels, Oh-gwi was approached by Sa-min (played by Kim Chan-hyung), who was consumed by darkness, and was infused with evil power. Oh-gwi's past, choosing immense power to be with Mir but ultimately distancing himself from the angels, evoked sympathy from the audience. Returning to the present, Mir, having regained all her strength and memories, offers Oh-gwi a hand to go to Tae-san (played by Ma Dong-seok), but Oh-gwi hesitates, fearing he might be sealed again, causing the two to drift apart once more.

Meanwhile, the human world plunges into chaos after the opening of the gates of hell. Mir confronts Sa-min, who is after the dragon's soul, and fights alone but is eventually overpowered. The angels, who later searched for Mir, encounter a heavily wounded Oh-gwi. He asks for time to recover and reveals Mir's whereabouts. Sa-min takes the unconscious Mir to the basement of the Tae-san Building, where a shrine is located, and begins a ritual to extract the dragon's soul, heightening the tension. Ultimately, Sa-min, wielding overwhelming power, awakens the four angels who died in the battle thousands of years ago: Han-woo (played by Na In-woo), Teacher To (played by Bae Yoo-ram), Yang-mi (played by Han Ye-ji), and Dal-gi (played by Han Jae-in). The belatedly arriving angels are left in shock upon discovering their colleagues awakened under the influence of darkness.

The episode concluded with Sa-min's fury erupting towards Tae-san, foreshadowing an unprecedented all-out war, raising anticipation to its peak. Will Mir, facing a dire crisis, the wounded Oh-gwi, and the angels compelled to duel their comrades, achieve victory once more against the forces of evil and protect everyone? The final episode's outcome has viewers buzzing with curiosity, further amplifying their desire to watch.
