Veteran actress Go Hyun-jung has quietly shown her support for Annie (Moon Seo-yoon), the daughter of her ex-husband’s family and a budding idol singer.

Recently, the official SNS of fashion magazine W KOREA released a pictorial featuring Annie, a member of the group All Day Project. Go Hyun-jung’s ‘like’ on this post signaled her warm encouragement.

Although no official statement or direct message was given, this subtle gesture highlights Go Hyun-jung’s considerate heart in cheering on her former in-law’s niece pursuing her dreams.

Annie, born in 2002, is the eldest daughter of Shinsegae Group Chairwoman Chung Yoo-kyung and the niece of Chung Yong-jin, Go Hyun-jung’s ex-husband. Go Hyun-jung was married to Chung Yong-jin from 1995 to 2003.

Annie debuted in June as part of the co-ed group All Day Project. With their double title tracks ‘Famous’ and ‘Wicked,’ she quickly rose to fame as a ‘monster rookie’ after topping music charts. Her journey to debut, overcoming strong opposition from her mother, has also garnered significant attention.

In a debut documentary, Annie shared, “When I first told my mother I wanted to become a singer, she firmly opposed it, saying ‘It’s impossible.’ That was the first heartbreak of my life.” She later gained her family’s permission to pursue her dreams after successfully entering university.

Meanwhile, Go Hyun-jung is currently captivating audiences with her powerful performance in the SBS drama ‘Frog: The Killer’s Outing.’ A former Miss Korea winner, she rose to stardom with the drama ‘Sandglass’ and has since starred in major productions like ‘Queen Seondeok,’ ‘Daemul,’ and ‘Mask Girl.’
