Jeon Hyun-moo Appears on Show with Facial Injury, Gets Teased About Appearance

Broadcaster Jeon Hyun-moo drew attention by appearing on air with an injury on his face.

On the June 14th broadcast of KBS2's 'Boss in the Mirror,' Lee Soon-sil visited her in-laws' hometown and prepared a meal for the village residents at the community center.

Lee Soon-sil had previously caught snails during a company retreat and shared stories from her wedding when visiting her in-laws. This time, she revealed that her husband's village is a close-knit community of the Jangsu Hwang clan, surprising everyone with the fact that all the villagers are related.

Lee Soon-sil then proposed sharing the caught snails with the villagers and headed to the community center. She announced her plan to prepare snail soup, fried loaches, and snail pancakes for the elders, instructing them to 'follow my orders unquestioningly as I am in charge today.'

While observing the cooking, Lee Soon-sil suddenly commented on Jeon Hyun-moo's appearance, saying, 'Jeon Hyun-moo's complexion doesn't look good. Doesn't he seem tired and have lost weight?' This comment flustered him.

Jeon Hyun-moo pointed to a wound under his eye, remarking, 'Isn't it because I bumped it here today?' He asked, 'Why are you suddenly bringing that up?' Lee Soon-sil replied, 'Because eating something like this can help,' recommending the snail soup.

Jeon Hyun-moo agreed, 'Yes, I have been feeling a bit low on energy.' However, Kim Sook chimed in, 'Perhaps you were injured this morning because you lacked energy,' and lawyer Kim Hee-joon added, 'It could be because you're dizzy from a lack of energy.'

Jeon Hyun-moo, seeing that he wasn't being given a chance to respond, stated with resignation, 'You're not giving me a chance to answer. The conclusion has been made. I got injured because I lacked energy.' Park Myung-soo, seizing the moment, playfully suggested, 'So, should we move towards you stepping down? What if word gets out that you're stepping down due to lack of energy?' Jeon Hyun-moo retorted, 'You dream of me stepping down whenever you get the chance,' eliciting laughter.

After all the dishes were prepared, Lee Soon-sil reiterated, 'These three men are all looking weak, they need to eat nutritious food like this,' and Jeon Hyun-moo responded, 'I should have a bowl.'
