SEVENTEEN's Woozi Begins Military Service Today

Woozi, a member of the popular K-pop group SEVENTEEN, has officially enlisted for his mandatory military service today, June 15th, joining the active duty army. The enlistment ceremony will be held privately.

On the day before his enlistment, June 14th, Woozi attended SEVENTEEN's 'Follow' concert at the Incheon Asiad Main Stadium. He was seen in the audience watching his fellow members perform. After the concert, he shared a farewell message on the fan communication platform Weverse, stating, "It was the first time today that I looked at the members laughing at the music I made and our Carats from the outside. I was quite happy about that." He added, "I'm going in with strength before I go. I will return healthy. Thank you."

Woozi is the third SEVENTEEN member to enlist, following Jeonghan and Wonwoo. Hoshi is also scheduled to enlist as an active duty soldier on June 16th.

Meanwhile, SEVENTEEN is continuing their world tour, with upcoming performances at the Hong Kong Kai Tak Stadium on June 27th-28th, followed by a North American tour in October and Japanese dome concerts in November-December.

Woozi is widely recognized as SEVENTEEN's main producer, contributing significantly to their songwriting and music production, defining the group's unique sound. His musical creations have brought joy and inspiration not only to fans but also to his fellow members.
