Son Yeon-jae Opens Up About Husband Dispute Over Toy Purchase: "A Slide for Around $100"

Former rhythmic gymnast Son Yeon-jae revealed a story about a dispute with her husband regarding a parenting item purchase.

A video titled 'Son Yeon-jae's Essential Parenting Items, Tried and Reviewed by a Mom Who's Serious About Raising Her Child' was uploaded to her YouTube channel 'Son Yeon-jae' on the 15th.

In the video, Son Yeon-jae confessed that she had a disagreement with her husband over a small slide they brought into their living room. She explained, "I told him, 'Why do you buy so much? Let's stop buying toys,' because it took up the middle of the living room, but my husband ended up placing the order."

Despite the initial conflict, Son Yeon-jae expressed great satisfaction with the purchase, stating it was surprisingly useful during the Chuseok holiday. She added, "My child played with it for 30-40 minutes every day, and it was worth every bit of the around 100,000 won price tag."

Meanwhile, Son Yeon-jae also showed a slightly bitter expression when mentioning the long Chuseok holiday.

Son Yeon-jae emerged as a prominent figure in South Korean rhythmic gymnastics after competing in the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics. Following her retirement, she has dedicated herself to nurturing the next generation of athletes as the head coach of the national rhythmic gymnastics team.
