Choi Won-young Reunites with Han Suk-kyu After 10 Years in 'Mr. Shin Project'

Actor Choi Won-young has reunited with veteran actor Han Suk-kyu, whom he previously worked with 10 years ago.

Choi recently shared a photo on his social media featuring himself with Han Suk-kyu and actor Bae Hyun-sung. He captioned it, "Meeting Senior Seok-kyu again after 10 years, who still gives such great resonance!" He added, "Our Hae-jun... Hyun-sung, who I met after transforming into a judge! Although it was a brief special appearance, a joyful and precious memory ~ 'Mr. Shin Project'!"

The two actors first shared the screen in the 2014 SBS drama 'Secret Door', where Han Suk-kyu played King Yeongjo and Choi Won-young portrayed Chae Je-gong, leading the historical mystery and royal political drama.

Now, a decade later, they are set to collaborate again in the tvN Monday-Tuesday drama 'Mr. Shin Project'. Han Suk-kyu takes on the role of Mr. Shin, a chicken restaurant owner, while Choi Won-young appears as Kim Young-ho, a current affairs program PD, suggesting an intriguing on-screen dynamic.

Interestingly, Choi Won-young and Bae Hyun-sung previously worked together in the JTBC drama 'Artificial Family' last year. Bae Hyun-sung played Kang Hae-joon, and Choi Won-young played Yoon Jung-jae, portraying deep emotions and growth together.

Choi Won-young has consistently expanded his acting range through powerful performances in various projects. His recent roles in 'Extracurricular', 'Alice', and 'Beyond Evil' further solidified his reputation as a compelling actor.
