Rock Legend Yoon Do-hyun Touched by Pharmacist's Kindness After Cancer Recovery

Singer Yoon Do-hyun has shared a heartwarming story about a pharmacist's thoughtful gesture, which deeply moved him following his recovery from a rare form of cancer.

In an Instagram post on the 18th, Yoon expressed his gratitude for the pharmacist's special consideration. "I was so thankful and felt a bit sorry when the pharmacist refused to accept payment for the medicine, saying instead to sing well," he wrote. "It made me want to become a better person and a better musician. I still have a long way to go, but I'll try my best. I feel like I could cry."

A photo attached to the post showed a medicine bag, hinting at the touching interaction.

Previously, in 2023, Yoon revealed his three-year battle with cancer, shocking many fans. He disclosed that he was diagnosed with extranodal marginal zone B-cell lymphoma, a rare type of cancer, around the start of rehearsals for the musical 'The Last Song' in 2021. He focused on treatment privately for over three years before recently receiving a clean bill of health, much to the relief of his supporters.

At the time, he explained his decision to keep his diagnosis private, stating, "My biggest worry was causing too much concern for others." He added, "Cancer is like a unpredictable rugby ball, but I will humbly protect my health and strive to do my best."

Yoon is currently active in broadcasting and performing, maintaining his health with the widespread support of the public.
