Ballad legend Shin Seung-hun appeared on the SBS entertainment show 'My Little Old Boy' (hereinafter referred to as 'My Little Old Boy'), drawing attention for his youthful appearance despite nearing his 60s, and candidly discussed his single status.

During the broadcast, Shin Seung-hun met with actor Yoon Hyun-min, who appeared nervous, saying, "I'm trembling." It turned out Yoon Hyun-min was visiting the iconic ballad singer. Host Seo Jang-hoon referred to Shin Seung-hun as a "true 'My Little Old Boy'," while Shin Dong-yeop remarked, "He's almost 60, but he's not married," sharing the news.

Known as one of the entertainment industry's most prominent unmarried singers, Shin Seung-hun revealed he has sung wedding blessings at over 100 ceremonies, for top celebrity couples like Jang Dong-gun and Ko So-young, and Son Ji-chang and Oh Yeon-soo. A rumor even circulated that "If Shin Seung-hun sings at your wedding, you won't divorce," making him the 'Master of Wedding Blessings.' However, he explained the reasons why he suddenly stopped performing them.

He confessed, "I started feeling a sense of inadequacy, thinking, 'Why is Shin Seung-hun singing wedding blessings when he's not married?' So, I stopped singing them." He further elaborated, sharing with a laugh that he developed a "phobia of wedding venues" due to being labeled 'eligible bachelor Shin Seung-hun' in headlines, even requiring him to use staff-only corridors.

Meanwhile, Shin Seung-hun shared his personal strategies with Yoon Hyun-min, who was troubled by persistent pressure to marry. He imparted his unique methods for avoiding questions like "Aren't you getting married?" and revealed his "ultimate tip for evading marriage nagging, used for 16 years." His advice to "consistently talk about marriage plans for two years later" has been ongoing for 16 years, eliciting explosive laughter.

However, Shin Seung-hun's mother still awaits her son's marriage, humorously stating, "I told him to bring home a foreign woman he can't even communicate with; I'd learn the language," which filled the studio with laughter.

Shin Seung-hun is a legendary singer-songwriter who dominated the Korean ballad scene in the 1990s, earning the title 'Emperor of Ballads' with numerous hit songs.
