Musical actors Jung Sung-hwa and Jung Sang-hoon have showcased their strong friendship by recounting a past period where they were suspected of being a gay couple.

On the YouTube channel 'Jjanhan Hyung Shin Dong-yeop,' released on the 22nd, the lead actors of the musical 'Mrs. Doubtfire' appeared to share various stories with hosts Shin Dong-yeop and Jung Ho-cheol.

During their conversation, Jung Sung-hwa mentioned their cohabitation, stating, "We lived together in college for about 8 years." Shin Dong-yeop chimed in, "People who didn't know us back then would have thought we were gay."

When Jung Ho-cheol inquired if they held hands while walking, Jung Sang-hoon denied it but explained the 'gay rumors.' He speculated, "It might have been because neither of us had girlfriends at the time."

Jung Sung-hwa also shared a story about Jung Sang-hoon's care, saying, "When I had a cold, Sang-hoon made me honey and bellflower root tea, steaming it himself." Jung Ho-cheol was impressed, calling it "true spousal support."

The two actors eventually clarified the rumors by revealing their past relationships with girlfriends, bringing the speculation to a close.

Jung Sung-hwa, a veteran musical actor, made his debut in 2002 and has since starred in numerous hit productions like 'Kinky Boots' and 'The Days.'
