South Korean actor Kim Young-kwang is set to make a highly anticipated comeback to the popular JTBC culinary talk show "Please Take Care of My Refrigerator" (also known as "Chef & My Fridge") after a decade, captivating fans with his upgraded charms. The special episode, airing this Sunday, July 7th, at 9 PM KST, promises an intimate look into the star's life and refrigerator.

Despite his striking visuals, Kim Young-kwang, known for his introverted personality, candidly expressed his concerns before the main segment, stating, "I'm worried because I'm not the entertaining type." However, his humility was immediately met with a barrage of compliments from the panel. Yoon Nam-no praised his "stunning profile," while Park Eun-young humorously remarked on his extraordinary height, saying, "He's so tall, it looks like someone stretched him." Adding to the warm atmosphere, Lee Young-ae shared her own past experiences with shyness on talk shows, showing empathy for Kim Young-kwang.

Another highlight of the upcoming episode is the reunion between Kim Young-kwang and Chef Choi Hyun-seok, also after a 10-year hiatus. Chef Choi elicited laughter by comically comparing their aging appearances in a past photo, lamenting, "Kim Young-kwang still shines like the sun, but I've become a crescent moon someone nibbled on." Yet, he quickly reverted to his signature playful arrogance, boasting, "Back then, I looked great just in a shirt," and "That's just how we 190cm tall guys are," prompting Chef Kim Poong to retort, "You're so annoying," much to the studio's amusement.

The true spectacle, however, came from Kim Young-kwang's refrigerator. Despite his initial worry that his fridge might contain fewer ingredients than before, a surprisingly vast collection of large-capacity groceries, resembling a small supermarket, continuously poured out. When host Ahn Jung-hwan questioned the abundance of oversized items, Kim Young-kwang innocently explained, "Someone told me it's good for the body, so I bought it," and "Honestly, I don't really remember what that ingredient is," charming everyone with his guileless responses. Adding to the intrigue, host Kim Sung-joo revealed the discovery of an unprecedented ingredient, remarking, "This looks scary at night," leaving viewers eager to discover what mystery item lies within.

Kim Young-kwang (born January 11, 1987) is a prominent South Korean actor and model. He initially gained recognition as a runway model before transitioning to acting, starring in popular dramas like "Pinocchio," "The Secret Life of My Secretary," and "Somebody." Known for his tall stature and charming versatility, he has successfully portrayed a range of characters from romantic leads to complex antagonists.
