The '10K CHALLENGE SEOUL', a 10km running festival set to take place in the heart of Seoul, is heightening anticipation by revealing its diverse starting groups and a special donation program featuring the beloved charity runner, Sean.

This event is designed for everyone, from competitive runners aiming for personal bests to beginners taking their first steps into running. Participants will be divided into various starting groups: A Group (BEST Challenge within 40 minutes), B Group (BEST Challenge within 50 minutes), C Group (BEST Challenge within 60 minutes), and D Group (First Challenge – Donation Group with Sean), alongside an E Group (First Challenge).

The standout feature is the D Group, the 'First Challenge – Donation Group with Sean.' Participants in this group will run alongside Sean, a singer well-known for his extensive charitable work and participation in running events. The entire registration fee from this group, totaling approximately 30 million KRW, will be donated to the Korea Habitat Rotem Tree International Alternative School.

This initiative holds significant meaning, allowing runners to extend their positive impact beyond personal achievement. By connecting their running experience with a charitable cause, participants in the D Group will share a unique completion experience.

The '10K CHALLENGE SEOUL', co-hosted by MBC SPORTS+ and WORLD21HQ, is scheduled for October 26th. It transcends a traditional marathon, envisioned as a vibrant running festival within Seoul, blending music and engaging visual elements. Opting for a Sunday 4 PM start, participants will experience the magic of a Seoul sunset while they run, particularly captivating along the Seogang Bridge section, a renowned spot for sunset views.

The 10km course loops through Yeouido Park, past KBS Headquarters, the National Assembly, across the Seogang Bridge, and back, showcasing Seoul's central landmarks and the Han River. The festival focuses on this single 10km distance and aims to accommodate 15,000 participants. Applications open on September 9th at 9 AM via the official website and will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

This festival promises a blend of personal challenge, enjoyment, and the spirit of giving, offering participants a memorable autumn experience in the heart of Seoul.

Sean debuted in 1997 as part of the hip-hop duo Jinusean, achieving significant popularity with numerous hit songs.

He is widely recognized in the entertainment industry as a 'Charity Angel' for his consistent philanthropic efforts and donation activities.

Beyond his music career, he has been actively promoting positive influence by participating in marathons and donating annually since 2011.
