Ahn So-yeon, the model who famously inspired the character Mira in Netflix's hit animation 'K-Pop Demon Hunters,' has officially embarked on a new career path as an actress.

Her new agency, IEUM HASHTAG, announced on September 8th, "We've signed an exclusive contract with actress Ahn So-yeon, who boasts powerful energy and global sensibilities. We are committed to providing comprehensive support for her to blossom into a world-class actress."

This move sees Ahn So-yeon joining a stellar lineup of talents at IEUM HASHTAG, including Seo Ji-hye, Kim Seol-hyun, Jung So-min, and Yoon Ji-on, marking the commencement of her professional acting journey. Born in 2001, Ahn debuted as Korea's youngest professional model at the age of 15 under the stage name 'Ellis.' Her commanding presence and striking visuals quickly made her a sensation in the fashion world.

Throughout her modeling career, she collaborated with luxury houses like Gucci, Miu Miu, Kenzo, and Loewe, as well as Korean label The Who. Ahn also made appearances at high-profile events for Louis Vuitton and Cartier, solidifying an image that was both sophisticated and distinct, capturing significant attention from the global fashion industry.
