Comedian Yoon Jung-soo has revealed his fiancée, Won Jin-seo (formerly Won Ja-hyun), who is 12 years his junior, expressing his firm belief in their destined love.
On the TV Chosun show 'Lovers of Joseon' broadcast on the 8th, Yoon Jung-soo was shown preparing to meet his fiancée. As a late groom at 53, Yoon Jung-soo shared his affection, stating, "I've finally met a partner who cherishes me. This person is my destined match."
Notably, Yoon Jung-soo expressed concern, recalling how his fiancée suffered greatly from malicious comments during her broadcasting career a decade ago. However, his fiancée, who appeared with a bright demeanor, surprised viewers by being identified as Won Ja-hyun, a former sports announcer once dubbed the 'Guangzhou Goddess,' who has now transitioned to being a Pilates instructor under the name Won Jin-seo.
Won Jin-seo confessed that she stopped broadcasting activities and suffered from depression due to sensationalized news articles and controversies over her attire. She revealed that Yoon Jung-soo's encouragement motivated her to appear on the show together. The couple first met 12 years ago as radio DJ and guest, and after losing touch for over a decade, they reconnected last year.
Won Jin-seo confided that she found great comfort listening to Yoon Jung-soo's radio show during a difficult time, which led to their reunion. Yoon Jung-soo is scheduled to tie the knot on November 30th.
Yoon Jung-soo debuted in 1997 and has since been a beloved figure on numerous variety shows, known for his witty remarks and approachable persona. His performances on popular comedy programs like 'Gag Concert' further solidified his popularity among viewers.
