Yoon Jung-soo Unveils Fiancée Won Ja-hyun (Now Won Jin-seo), Cites Online Hate as Reason for Hiatus

Broadcaster Won Ja-hyun, who has now changed her name to Won Jin-seo, is making a comeback to broadcasting alongside her fiancé Yoon Jung-soo, garnering significant attention.

On the TV CHOSUN show 'Lover of Joseon' aired on the 8th, Yoon Jung-soo introduced his fiancée, Won Jin-seo, ahead of their November wedding.

In an interview with the production crew, Yoon Jung-soo confessed his deep concerns about the online hate comments his fiancée endured during her previous broadcasting career. He stated, "She received a lot of malicious comments when she was active in broadcasting about 10 years ago. It must have been very difficult. If it were just me, I could endure it, but now that it's the two of us, I worry."

Yoon Jung-soo, who has already legally married Won Jin-seo by completing their marriage registration, introduced his wife, formerly known as the 'Guangzhou Goddess' Won Ja-hyun.

His fiancée, Won Jin-seo (formerly Won Ja-hyun), revealed her name change, saying, "It's Won Ja-hyun, who used to greet you often through sports broadcasting. Please call me Won Jin-seo now." She further explained her six-year hiatus from broadcasting by saying, "I worked in many fields, from news reporter to in-house announcer, but once I became known through sports broadcasting, I found it hard to adapt. The news articles were sensationalized, and that aspect being highlighted put a lot of pressure and stress on me."

The revelation surprised Choi Sung-gook in the studio, who was taken aback to learn that Won Jin-seo was the former Won Ja-hyun.

Won Jin-seo first gained recognition as a sports reporter for MBC in 2010. She subsequently worked in various roles, including as a reporter for KBS, a global weathercaster for Weather News, and a traffic caster. Since 2017, she has also been active as a Pilates instructor, embarking on a second career.
