Japanese actor Kentaro Sakaguchi, popular in South Korea, is currently facing cohabitation rumors that have sent shockwaves through his domestic fanbase. Amidst the swirling news, a past video showcasing his notable chemistry with Korean comedian Jang Do-yeon has been brought back into the spotlight.

According to reports from a Japanese weekly magazine on the 9th, Sakaguchi is rumored to be living with a woman three years his senior. This woman, reportedly born in 1988, works in the hair and makeup industry. The reports suggest the two have been living together since August, lending credibility to the cohabitation claims.

The news has understandably surprised fans, especially given Sakaguchi's immense popularity in South Korea, where he is considered one of the most beloved Japanese actors. In light of these developments, a video from the 'Jang Do Baribari' series, released on Netflix's official channel and the 'TEO’ channel two months ago, has resurfaced, drawing attention to Sakaguchi's delightful on-screen rapport with Jang Do-yeon. In the clip, when Jang Do-yeon asked if he liked mushrooms, he responded with a charming "Suki desu (I like it)". He repeated a similar sweet affirmation when asked about liking tofu.

The highlight for many viewers was when Jang Do-yeon playfully asked, "Do you like me?" to which Sakaguchi replied, "Yes," followed by a 'wall-slamming' scene that generated considerable excitement among fans. Netizens have reacted with a mix of humor and concern, with comments such as, "Jang Do-yeon must be shocked too... my heart is Jang Do-yeon's heart," further fueling curiosity about the actor.

Kentaro Sakaguchi began his acting career in 2014 with the film 'Code 1022'. He gained significant recognition in Japan with his role in the 2016 drama 'Nigeru wa Haji da ga Yaku ni Tatsu' and has since starred in numerous hit films and dramas, earning him the nickname 'Nation's Boyfriend'.
