Stray Kids Dominates Billboard Charts with 'KARMA', Rewriting K-Pop History

Global K-pop sensation Stray Kids has once again solidified their international standing by achieving remarkable success on the U.S. Billboard charts with their latest album, 'KARMA'.

According to Billboard's official announcement on the 9th (local time), Stray Kids' fourth full-length album 'KARMA' debuted at number 4 on the 'Billboard 200' chart dated September 13th, marking its second consecutive week in the upper echelon of the prestigious ranking. Furthermore, the new release, including its title track 'CEREMONY,' charted in a total of 13 categories, such as 'Top Album Sales,' 'Billboard Global 200,' and 'World Albums,' underscoring the group's immense global appeal.

Earlier, Stray Kids made history by reaching the No. 1 spot on the 'Billboard 200' chart with 'KARMA' on September 6th. This achievement made them the first artist in the 70-year history of the chart to debut at No. 1 with seven consecutive albums. They were also the first K-pop artist this year to top the chart, and with a total of seven No. 1 entries, they have cemented their status as the K-pop artist with the most top rankings on the 'Billboard 200'.

In addition, Stray Kids set another record by becoming the first K-pop artist this year to surpass one million in annual physical and digital album sales. This accomplishment, achieved for both 2024 and projected for 2025 in the U.S. market, highlights the group's sustained popularity and powerful album sales.

Stray Kids is set to celebrate their status as K-pop champions with their domestic fans by holding the encore performances of their world tour, 'Stray Kids World Tour 'dominATE : celebrATE',' at the Seoul Olympic Stadium on October 18th and 19th. Having entered 27 stadiums and set numerous records across 13 locations during this world tour, the group will deliver a spectacular finale on a domestic stadium stage.
