K-pop boy group 82MAJOR is set to make a significant splash in the Japanese music scene by signing an exclusive management contract with HoriPro International, a prominent Japanese entertainment company.

The group officially launched their Japanese activities on the 10th, opening their official fan club '82DE' in collaboration with HoriPro International and eplus, Japan's largest ticketing service. This move marks a strategic expansion into the lucrative Japanese market.

HoriPro International, a division of one of Japan's top three talent agencies, will oversee 82MAJOR's management, leveraging their extensive experience with top Japanese stars like Satomi Ishihara and Ryohei Suzuki. They aim to foster 82MAJOR's growth into a 'major' artist in Japan. Eplus, with its vast membership base and IT marketing expertise, will play a crucial role in expanding the group's reach and engagement with Japanese fans.

This collaboration, bolstered by the creative prowess of their Korean agency Great M Entertainment and the strategic investment from SM Entertainment, is poised to create significant synergy for 82MAJOR's global ambitions. The group aims to live up to their name by becoming a 'major' force not just in Korea, but across the world.

To kick off their Japanese promotions, 82MAJOR will hold their first fan meeting at Tokyo's Nissho Hall on December 21st and are currently preparing for a comeback in October.

Debuting in 2023, 82MAJOR has gained recognition as 'performance idols,' consistently selling out their concerts shortly after their debut. They have successfully completed a 25-city tour across North America and represented K-pop at the 'EveryOne Fes 2025' in Nagoya, celebrating 60 years of Korea-Japan relations.
