JTBC's new weekend drama '100 Years of Memory' is set to premiere today, the 13th, transporting viewers back to the vibrant 1980s. The series chronicles the blossoming friendship between bus conductors Go Young-rye (played by Kim Da-mi) and Seo Jong-hee (played by Shin Ye-eun), alongside a touching tale of first love.

The premiere episode will feature the first day of work for the meticulous veteran conductor Young-rye and the fresh-faced newcomer Jong-hee. Young-rye is known for her unwavering adherence to the rules, especially when it comes to collecting fares. In contrast, Jong-hee earned her spot with a booming voice, mastering the signature 'Alright!' call.

In that era, bus conductors were vital to operations, ensuring passenger safety, managing fares, and signaling departures. The company naturally assigned the experienced Young-rye to mentor the rookie Jong-hee on her inaugural day. Newly released stills capture Young-rye diligently checking paper tickets, known as 'hop-on tickets,' while Jong-hee intently observes and learns from her senior in the unfamiliar environment.

The production team shared, 'Young-rye's mentorship marks the official beginning of their story. The drama will evoke nostalgia with its depiction of the objects and people from that time.' They added, 'Viewers can expect a blend of laughter and tears within this youth chronicle, offering warmth, empathy, and the energy of living a fulfilling life.' '100 Years of Memory,' a collaboration between hitmaker writer Yang Hee-seung and director Kim Sang-ho, premieres this Saturday at 10:40 PM on JTBC.

Kim Da-mi made her acting debut in the 2018 film 'The Witch: Part 1. The Subversion,' leaving a strong impression. She rose to stardom with her roles in the dramas 'Itaewon Class' and 'Our Beloved Summer.' Her recent appearances in films like 'The Witch: Part 2. The Other One' and '12.12: The Day' further showcase her versatile acting capabilities.
